The cut is excellent. There is perfect symmetry under the lens; arrows radiating from the centre when viewed from the top or table of the diamond, and hearts when viewed from underneath on the pavillion.
Taking a moment to look up from the lens, one has a panoramic view of the Cape Town city harbour through windows that stretch the length of the showroom. The ambience is cosy and comfortable as relaxed music plays in the background, giving the place a tranquil feel.

The diamonds here are certified to the highest standard by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) – the international standard for diamond grading. GIA classifies diamonds according to the 4Cs –Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat weight. All of this information along with a detailed breakdown of the stone’s particular make-up can be found in each diamond certificate. As an additional layer of security, each diamond has its very own, unique GIA number along with the words ‘South Africa’ laser inscribed into its girdle. This ensures their value as investment items while branding their true origin as uniquely South African.
